YOGA FOR TWO
SHARING AN ENTERTAINING PRACTICE
Practicing yoga in 2 means to trust someone else and let him/her trust us
When you practice in couple you should free your mind of prejudice and fear, and loosen up, so as to move and breath in sync.
In couple practice, you should first of all listen to your body, as well as to the one of your companion. Yoga couple practice develops trust, and prevents us from criticizing other people. It also allows us to learn new asanas, and makes us feel backed up in practicing asanas. The main goals is taking advantage of all the benefits of yoga and asanas, while helping one another. Couple practice lo yoga also helps us improve our poses.
When the flexibility is different between the two elements of the couple, or the level is not advanced for the one as it is for the other, mutual help in the practice blurs all differences. Whether it be Sarvangasana or even more difficult poses, it will be possible to transform them in couple poses, which, over and above being beautiful to look at, will finally be even more effective in reinforcing our muscles and trusting ourselves.
