Gymnastics aiming at Health and Fitness – Yoga Gymnastics-

INTENSITY'


INTENSIVE 
​MovingYoga

A dynamical, intensive pratice, makes your body well-toned and flexible. This is a good training not only for your muscles, but also for your joints, which get stronger, supple, and free from any tension.  A regular practice improves the awareness of your own body in space, as well as your alignment, balance, breathing,  coordination of movements, posture, and the ability to get to know yourself better. These sequences are also suitable for athletic training.

 MEDIUM
​MovingYoga

Medium-intensity classes, in which a great attention is paid to body alignment, suspension, expansion, transition from one asana to the next, so as to produce a balance between pose and counterpose. Body, music, breath, heartbeat – all merge together in harmonious sequences. You learn experiencing each pose.  Attention is also paid to the movements of your spine, of your muscles and your joints.

SOFT
MovingYoga

Ideal for those who prefer a light practice, with smooth movements, and elegant gestures. You get time to take care of your body and relax your mind, while letting go of your thoughts; all this without neglecting  mobile vertebrae, well-toned muscles, and regular breathing. This class is suitable for those who want to start – step by step – to get back in shape, or have some minor physical or postural problem. This lesson is suitable for pregnant.


SPECIALTY


TRAINING
​​MovingYoga

One of the yoga classes during the week will be held by one of the trainees of our 500hr-yoga teacher training course, under the supervision of the course directors. These classes, which can be followed by all SSD YogaArte members, will contribute to the training of the future Yoga teachers.

BREATH ​
​
MovingYoga

During this class, a particular attention is paid to breathing. Here we learn how to listen to our breath, which flows into our body, releasing us from tension and stiffness. Breathing your pose means a continuous awareness of yourself. Through breathing techniques, we suspend the flow of our thoughts. 

PRENATAL ​
​MovingYoga 

Yoga with asanas, breathing and meditation will help the mum-to-be to realize that a new life is growing inside her. The slow, careful
​movements of  MovingYoga will  accompany this period, which is extraordinary for each woman.
 

ONE TO ONE
​MovingYoga

Individual classes for those who have specific needs, for beginners, as well as for experienced practitioners who want to pursue their individual path. A custom-made programme will be developed, with Asanas adapted to individual needs.


 

WAKE UP
​MOVINGYOGA

With this class, you reawaken your body in the morning with  Moving Yoga, in order to start your day, full of energy and wellbeing. Soft asanas, stretching, and flowing movements slip away, just like a dance.
 

 

KIDS
​MOVINGYOGA

These classes are addressed to teenagers, from 9  to 13 years of age.  This yoga practice helps them deal with this important stage of their growth.  Asanas contribute to an harmonious development of their bodies; muscles are stretched and toned, the posture is corrected, and the alignment is improved, in case of scoliosis. Moreover, yoga stimulates their bloodstream and their endocrine system, which rules their growth. Through  practice, adolescents learn to obtain a higher self-control, thus reducing their tendency to swings of mood, typical of their age, and improve their  attention span.
