Clinical Psychologist, specialized in neurodevelopmental disorders.
In 2017, she obtained her Master degree in Life cycle Clinical Psychology at LUMSA in Rome, with a dissertation on “drug-free treatment in taking care of dementia patients: “Doll therapy - a review of the literature”.
From March to December 2017, MariaLaura took part in clinical activity at ASL (Local Health Authority) Roma3 Scarpetta, Rome, in the framework of the research project: “National Observatory for monitoring autistic spectrum disorders”.
In he carried out her post-gramduate internship at the AITA Scientific Centre of Neuropsychiatry in Rome, for the rehabilitation of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, with reference to autistic spectrum disorders.
Since 2018, MariaLaura is carrying out a volunteer internship as clinical psychologist at the Department of Child Neuropsychiatry of the Tor Vergata Polyclinic, taking part in clinical and diagnostic, and research activity, both for day hospital and outpatients.
As a little girl, MariaLaura cultivated her passion for fencing, foil in particular, and took part in National competitions. She currently holds a qualification as Specialized Tutor in managing children with autistic spectrum disorders within inclusive sports and rehabilitation projects. She is carrying out this activity at the ”Accademia Scherma LIA” (Lia Fencing Academy), Rome.
In the month of September 2018, MariaLaura obtained her Yoga Instructor certificate at the YogaArte Centre in Rome, and in 2019 a RYT 250h Yoga Alliance Italia/International certificate.
MariaLaura is continuing her training at the YogaArte Centre, in order her 500hr Yoga Teacher diploma.
