As a girl, Giuliana Giobbi studied classical dance. After her degree in Modern Languages at the University La Sapienza in Roma, while she was in Scotland studying for her PhD and teaching Italian, Giuliana followed classes of modern dance. Back to Italy, she started practicing Hatha Yoga, and continued to follow weekly classes with her teacher Brunella Sarti for 17 years. Starting from Fall 2016, Giuliana started practicing MovingYoga at the YogaArte Studio in Rome, while at the same time following the 250hr Yoga Teacher Training Course, and obtained the Yoga instructor certificate in the month of May 2018. In the same period, Giuliana obtained the RYT 250 plus by Yoga Alliance International and the CSEN 250h Yoga Instructor Diploma. In the meantime, Giuliana took part in the retreats and workshops organized by the YogaArte teachers Michela Manuppella and Flaminia Tolomeo. In the preceding years, Giuliana had also taken part in the Rome editions of the Yoga Festival. Starting from December 2018, Giuliana started the 500hr Yoga teacher training course at YogaArte, and finally obtained her Yoga Teacher certificate in June 2020.
